Genesis 3:1 Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?

As we see in Genesis 3, Satan was more subtle than any other creature.  It is the devil’s very nature to be subtle, to be deceptive.  When sin began on the face of the earth, Satan used his subtle nature to add a little here and leave a little out there. 

In short, he made the sin seem to be not so bad.  He is doing the very same thing with this series of books and movies.  Through his subtlety, Satan is conning a generation of young women and even little girls into believing there is such a thing as a good vampire or that a vampire can be a hero. 

Consider the following quote from a “Rolling Stone” interview with the lead character Robert Patterson in which he says, “It's weird that you get 8-year-old girls coming up to you saying, ‘Can you just bite me?

I want you to bite me.’”  In this interview, he also alluded to how girls as young as eight are drawn to the sexuality of the movie even though abstinence is one of the themes proclaimed by those who promote the movie as wholesome!

It is undeniable that “Third Wave” churches, including those involved with or influenced by the Toronto Blessing and the Brownsville Revival, are notorious for demonizing godly Christians who cannot accept ungodly behavior in their church. The message from these church leadership is clear—be quiet, sit down, and don’t question. The leadership knows best.

For the believer in Christ, the bottom line is there’s nothing wrong with wanting an honest accounting of belief and practice. If someone falls writhing to the floor of the sanctuary, laughs uncontrollably for no apparent reason, falls into a trance, has a vision—whatever—it is the duty of those in the Church to discern, judge, and refute any and all doctrines or manifestations that do not line up with the written Word of God (1 Thessalonians 5:21). Any restrictions placed upon the sincere evaluations of these things is a contrived rule of man that becomes a burden too difficult to carry.

A choice is placed before the believer at that point...either put a lid on it or dare to protest and receive the subsequent chastisement. This almost certainly will include exclusion from leadership positions, restrictions in what you are allowed to teach and in leading home Bible-study groups, and being thought spiritually immature. Or being forced to leave a church group you?ve served and loved.

But for those in hyper-Charismatic churches worship takes on a different meaning altogether. While ostensibly the purpose of the worship part of the church service is to focus on Christ and glorify Him, what actually happens and in fact is promoted is that praise and worship becomes a catalyst to propel the believer into “God’s presence”. It is assumed that it requires an indefinite time to “enter in” to where we can shed our worldly cares and meet with God, and almost invariably that time is lengthy and drawn out

Komminister Maud Rosenschöld presenterade två experter som deltog i den högtidliga tillställningen: Britt Lindström från Djurens vänner och Ingegerd Liljekvist från Djurhemmet i Aggarp.

Britt Lindström talade om djurskydd, och menade även att likheterna mellan djur och människa borde gör att uttrycket att "djur inte har någon själ kan försvinna en gång för alla". Ingegerd Liljekvist talade om ansvaret en djurägare tar på sig, ofta för en tidsperiod på 10-15 år.  

Den som ville fick sitt husdjur välsignat av Maud Rosenschöld eller kollegan Ragnhildur Jonasdottir.

SKA MAN SKRATTA ELLER GRÅTA?

1. Belief in G-d

Man, the weakest of creatures, is surrounded by forces of life and death far greater than himself. Confronted with the vastness of these universal forces, man might well try to ‘serve them’ in order to protect himself, and better his lot.

The essence of life, however, is to recognize the Supreme Being who created the Universe and accept His laws with awe and love. We must remember that He is aware of all our deeds, rewarding goodness and punishing evil. We are dependent on Him, and to Him alone do we owe allegiance.

To imagine that there could be any other power that could protect us or provide for our needs perverts the purpose of life, and, as history has shown, potentially unleashes untold forces of evil in ourselves, and in the world.

2. Respect G-d and Praise Him

When we feel disappointed with life, when things do not work out as they should, how easy it to point an accusing finger and blame…everyone…everything…even G-D. Loyalty and trust are crucial in life. To blame G-d, curse, or to curse others in His name, is an act of disloyalty - akin to treason. It is an act which undermines the basis of all order and stability, on which a just society must stand.

3. Respect Human Life

The record of man’s inhumanity to man begins with the story of Cain and Abel. Man is indeed his brother?s keeper. The prohibition against manslaughter (including abortion) comes to protect man from the bestial tendency which lies within him. Man the attacker, denies the sanctity of human life, and ultimately attacks G-d, who created us in His image.

4. Respect the Family

The Bible states, “It is not good for man to be alone,” so G-d made a helpmate for Adam and in marriage “He blessed them.” In a wholesome family, man’s creativity finds meaningful expression. Wholesome families are the cornerstone of healthy communities, nations, and societies. Nations which have condoned immorality - adultery, homosexuality, sodomy, incest - have never lasted long. Sexual immorality is the sign of an inner decay which spawns a ruthless society, bringing confusion into G-d’s life plan.

5. Respect Human Beings

Since our sustenance comes from G-d, we should seek to earn it honestly, with dignity, and not through false means. To violate the property of others, by robbing or cheating, is a fundamental attack on their humanity. This breeds anarchy, plunging mankind into the depths of selfishness and cruelty. It was for this sin, above all, that the Flood was brought upon the world.

6. Have a Judical System

A robust and healthy legal system, administering justice fairly, creates a society worthy of G-d’s blessings. Establishing a system of judges, courts, and officials to maintain and enforce the law is a far-reaching responsibility. This precept translates the ideals of our personal life into a formal order for society at large. It is the extension and guarantee of all the preceding laws.

 ¹Vilka dårar ni är, ni galater! Vem är det som har förvillat och förhäxat er så? Har jag inte tillräckligt levande berättat för er om hur Jesus Kristus dog på korset, att det är som om ni hade sett det med egna ögon.

 ²Låt mig ställa en enda fråga till er. Fick ni den helige Ande därför att ni försökte lyda den judiska lagen? Naturligtvis inte, för den helige Ande kom över er först sedan ni hade hört om Kristus och börjat tro att han skulle frälsa er.

 ³Har ni blivit fullständigt förvirrade? Om ni inte tidigare fick andligt liv genom att lyda den judiska lagen, varför tror ni att det ska göra er till bättre kristna om ni försöker lyda den nu?

 ⁴Ni som har lidit så mycket för evangeliets skull, tänker ni nu kasta allt över bord? Jag kan knappast tänka mig det.

 ⁵Jag frågar igen. Ger Gud er den helige Andes kraft och gör han under ibland er som ett resultat av era försök att lyda den judiska lagen? Nej, naturligtvis inte. Det sker när ni tror på Kristus och helt och fullt litar på honom.

 ⁶Se på Abraham. Han hade upplevt samma sak. Det var hans tro på Guds löften som gjorde att Gud förklarade honom rättfärdig.

 ⁷Alltså är alla de som tror och uppriktigt litar på Gud Abrahams verkliga barn.

Den sydafrikanske domaren Richard Goldstone, som utrett Gazakriget för FN:s räkning, försvarade den svidande och kontroversiella rapporten i Ekots lördagsintervju.

Han ansåg att ansvariga i Israel och i den palestinska Gazaremsan skulle kunna ställas inför rätta för krigsförbrytelser i fall de reser till ett annat land.

-Alla som misstänks ha utfört krigsbrott borde oroa sig för att resa utomlands, sade Goldstone och nämnde bland annat de nordiska länderna och Storbritannien som länder där en misstänkta krigsförbrytare kan gripas och dömas efter internationell lag.
